Soil / Groundwater Contamination

Responding to contamination in various steps.

If you would like to know contamination risks, Our “Land Report” will help. Based on the ground subsurface database, the Report shows land-use history of the factories where hazardous material were used, and designated areas in Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act.
To implement further investigation, the following 3 phases are regarded as the standard:

Phase 1 includes desktop land-use history investigation with on-site hearing.  Based on the information of the site, hazardous material and source of contamination should be presumed in this phase.

Phase 2 includes on-site investigation and analysis to grasp the circumstances of contamination. In this phase, we investigate a geological formation and a current of groundwater to consider diffusion of contamination and its countermeasures, then measure content and elution amount of hazardous material. In case of volatile material, we conduct on-site gas investigation.

In Phase 3, we determine and implement the most appropriate countermeasures by grasping the actual contaminated areas and comparing costs. If any governmental organizations involve the investigation, the other processes will be required.
